inspiration: I liked Saiyuki and was willing to cosplay just about anyone from it. So since I consider Hakkai to be the Saiyuki character I looked the most look like, I picked him. My friend Becky made Sanzo (and later Goku) and I wanted to cosplay with her. Becky helped me a lot with this costume, I wouldn't have been able to do it without her. The little vines on my demon version were drawn by Ken.
favorite aspect: Cosplaying with friends.
least favorite aspect: One word: Monocle.
